01 — What it is

Stone that
bends

Flexible ceramic is a thin sheet material made of natural stone powder and a modified mineral binder. Only 3–5 mm thick, yet the surface is indistinguishable from travertine, sandstone, brick or wood. With the rainy season now setting in across Bali, it is the facade cladding that stays unaffected: the factory hydrophobic layer keeps panels from absorbing water, cracking or growing mould. The material is also known as MCM (modified clay material), flexi stone or soft stone.

02 — Advantages

Why flexible ceramic

A material that combines the realism of natural stone with the ease of modern cladding.

01

Non-combustible A1

Does not burn or support combustion. The highest fire class for facades.

02

Formaldehyde-free

Mineral composition, no resins or harmful emissions. Safe for living spaces.

03

Water & mould proof

Factory hydrophobic treatment. Rain-safe, mould-free, fit for wet zones.

04

Realistic texture

Cast from real stone: pores, veins, relief. Truly hard to tell from natural.

05

UV-stable

Colour does not fade in the sun. Stable tone on the facade for years.

06

Lightweight

4–7 kg/m². No load on the structure, lower install and logistics cost.

07

Flexible & cuttable

Bends to a radius, cut with a knife. Wraps columns and arches seamlessly.

08

Fast install

Glues to any substrate. No wet works, no heavy sub-structure.
